Jimmy W Pogue Inc. was founded on April 1, 1966 by Jimmy W Pogue and his cousin Thomas Ray Pogue. The two started with nothing but their instruments and a relentless work ethic. They surveyed through the day, drew plats by hand in the evenings and late into the night, and delivered completed surveys to clients on the way to the next job site.
From those early days, Jimmy built the firm into a multi-location operation serving the entire Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Along the way he trained numerous surveyors, passing on the standards of precision and professionalism that still define the company today. More than sixty years later, Jimmy W Pogue Inc. remains a family business — grounded in the same commitment to precision and service that Jimmy and Thomas Ray established from day one.
